HUNTSVILLE — After trailing 1-0 at the half and 2-0 in the second period, Scott staged a thrilling rally against Alcoa in Monday's District 4-A/AA quarterfinal that ended with the Lady Highlanders capitalizing on penalty kicks to earn a trip to Knoxville for Tuesday's semifinals at CAK.

Down 2-0 in the second half, Scott scored in the 23rd minute on a goal by Monica Roberts, assisted by Bridget Chambers, then tied the game 11 minutes later on a Christian Sexton goal that was assisted by Darby Lyons.

After their thrilling comeback in the final 18 minutes, the Lady Highlanders found themselves behind again in the second overtime, but tied it up on Morrow's second goal, again assisted by Bridget Chambers.

Finally, Scott got the win with a 3-0 effort on penalty kicks. Making the kicks were Jozlyne Toney, Chelsey Kidd and Summer Chambers.

Khristian Chambers earned three saves at the goal.
