Update (Sept. 3, 2013, 1:18 p.m.) — The murder trial of Gregory D. Potter will be delayed in Scott County Criminal Court. According to district attorney general Lori Phillips-Jones, criminal court judge Shayne Sexton will call the case Monday for rescheduling. The trial was originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

HUNTSVILLE — An Oneida man accused of going on a shooting spree that left one man dead and one seriously wounded is scheduled to face a jury next week on first degree murder charges.

Gregory D. Potter, 56, has been jailed since his arrest on Oct. 29, 2011, in connection with the shooting death of 29-year-old Chris Marcum.
