HUNTSVILLE — The Town of Huntsville's lease of the old courthouse mall to Brimstone Recreation on two busy holiday weekends is being disputed by Trail's End Campground, which questions the legality of the lease.
Clinton, Tenn., attorney David Stuart, retained by Trail's End Campground, wrote in an Aug. 13 letter to Mayor George Potter and the town's board of aldermen that the lease is not legal and called for it to be terminated.

Stuart was unable to attend Thursday's monthly meeting of the board; however, the campground's owners — Steve and Marla Howard — were present and requested that the town grant their company equal access to the mall.To continue reading, please subscribe to the Independent Herald.
