Garland "Butch" Watson Jr., 64, of Mentor, Ohio, passed away July 17, 2013, at his residence.
Born in Oneida, November 26, 1948, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Henry and Dottie Watson, and RV and Loma Chambers.
He had worked as a mechanic for Sims Buick, and for the former Qua Buick for 40 years, and enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his parents, Garland, Sr. and June Watson; daughter, Patty Barnes and husband, Jim, of Mentor on the Lake; son, Matt Watson and wife, Dawn, of Parma; grandchildren: Niko Ladd and Max Bauer; the mother of his children, Sue Watson of Mentor, Ohio; sister, Brenda Acres and husband, Larry, of Oneida; brothers: David Watson and wife, Florence, of Knoxville, and R.V. Watson and wife, Kathy, Bob Watson, and Jimmy Watson, all of Oneida; nephews: Jason Acres and wife, Stacie, Jarred Acres and wife, Mickie, Justin Acres, and Michael and David Watson; great-nieces, Shana and Katelyn; and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted July 23, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home. Interment followed at Grave Hill Cemetery.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
