Eva Mae Pike, 91 of Morrow, Ohio, passed away July 7, 2013, with her family by her side.

Born in Helenwood, October 20, 1921, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Westley and Nannie Phillips; her husband, John L. Pike; sons: infant, Johnny William Pike, and Willis Pike; grandson, John McDonald; brothers: Oscar, Cosby, and Eli ìBudî Phillips, and Fred Pike; and sisters: Cordellia Pike and Lula Ivorydale Phillips.

She enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with her family, quilting; and was a life-long member of Tunnel Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice McDonald and husband, Michael, of Morrow, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Edith Pike of Flowery Branch, Georgia; grandchildren: Michael, Philip, Jacob, Kimberly, Sonya, and Tammy; 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandsons; sisters: Marjorie Carson of Oneida, and Erma Jean Shaw of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted July 11, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home. Interment followed at Pike Family Cemetery.

West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
