Chester A. Crowley, Sr., 82, of Muscadine, Alabama, formerly of Scott County, passed away July 3, 2013.
Born in Scott County, December 30, 1930, he was preceded in death by his parents, George Vimbert and Stella Boshears Crowley; wife, Rosetta Chambers Crowley; seven brothers, and six sisters.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict; and was a retired foreman with Bankhead Asphalt Company with 40 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law: Chester, Jr. and Judy Crowley, of Austell, and Wayne and Dayla Crowley of Lexington, South Carolina; daughters and sons-in-law: Michelle and Gary Busbin of Villa Rica, and Karen and Ray Hindman of Muscadine, Ala.; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted July 6, at Hightowerís Memorial Chapel with Bro. Robert Lee Chambers officiating. Interment followed at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
