Minnie Lee Lawson Pemberton, 64, passed away July 1, 2013, at her residence.

Born September 1, 1948, she was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Lucinda Jeffers Lawson; son, Ricky Edward Smith; brothers: J.C., Donald Ray, Eldrige, and Bobby Lawson; and sisters: infant, Beulah, and Frankie June Banrealte.

She was of the Baptist faith, and was a loving wife, mother, and mee-maw.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Allen Pemberton; daughters: Carletta Brown and husband, Joey, and Lechia Terry; grandchildren: Jessica Hawn, Jeffery Harness, Leanna Harness, Tasha Terry, and Cody Terry; great-grandchildlren: Kendrick, Kayleigh, Keithan, Taylor, Isaiah, Silas, Kameron, Jaxon, and Kasen; brother, Pete Lawson and wife, Penny; sister, Ellie Mae Phillips; and many other relatives.

The family was to have received friends from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service at 5 p.m., Wednesday, July 3, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro. Keith Marcum officiating. Music was provided by Jamie Byrd. Interment followed at Cut Cemetery, Helenwood.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville had charge of arrangements.
