Shadara Lashia Douglas, 17, of Winfield, passed away June 14, 2013, at East Tennessee Childrenís Hospital in Knoxville.

Born in Oneida, May 24, 1996, she was preceded in death by her cousin, Abby Wyatt.

She was a student at the Oneida High School, and was a very giving person while she was living and even in her death. She gave her hair to Locks of Love numerous times and donated her organs to complete strangers to save their lives: A young man the age of her brother, Cody, in Pittsburg, an adult and father of two small children in Nashville, an adult in West Tennessee, and small child in Memphis.

She was survived by her parents, Roger and Sherry Douglas of Winfield; her brother and her best friend, Cody Douglas; her grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted June 17, at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Chambers, Bro. Carlie Duncan, Bro. Jim West, and Bro. Lee Strunk officiating. Music was provided by the Chitwood Family and Dallas West. Interment followed at Jonathan Chitwood Cemetery.
