William Allen ìBillî Jeffers, 48, of Oneida, passed away May 28, 2013, at Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville.

Born in Oneida, May 25, 1965, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert and Edna Jeffers, and Elmer and Flossie Marcum; aunt: Shelly Marcum; and uncle, Charles Carson.

He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church; and owned and operated Jeffers Plumbing for more than 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, DeAnna Jeffers of Oneida; children: Katie Diane, Rebecca Lynn, Robert Allen (R.J.), and James Daniel Jeffers, all of Oneida; parents, James Robert ìJimî and Geanetta Marcum Jeffers of Oneida; brother, James Michael ìJimmyî Jeffers and wife, Tina, of Oneida; sister, Cindy Arrington and husband, Clint, of Atlanta, Ga.; nephew, Travis Jeffers; niece, Jamie Jeffers; aunts and uncles: Susie Carson, Dorla and Lillard Miller; Lawton Marcum, and John and Ann Jeffers; special girls: Sarah Hungerford and Brooke Campbell; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted May 30, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Bro. John Vernon Thompson, Sr., officiating. Music was provided by: Dallas West, Marcy Thomas, and John Vernon Thompson, Jr. Graveside service was conducted May 31, at Acres-Jeffers Family Cemetery.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements.
