Velma Sexton Hutson, 80, of the Annadell community, passed away May 18, 2013.

Born in Scott County, May 30, 1932, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Ernest Hutson;  son, Danny Ernest, grandsons: Michael Scott Terry, and Heath Andrew Hutson; parents, Isom Garfield and Hattie Izillah Sexton; brothers: Glen, Ray (Hambone), Chester Sexton, and two infants; sisters: Dessie Ellis and Ruth Terry; and sons- and sister-in-law: Alberto Benitez, Steve White, Margaret; and special friend, Pauline.

She was a current member of Annadell United Baptist Church and was a founding member of Little Zion United Baptist Church of Indianapolis, Ind. She was best known for her faithfulness in God, love and pride in her ëjust eightí children, and her hugs.

She is survived by her brothers: Cosby, and Delmer Sexton; brother-in-law, Otis Terry; children: Mary Jean Moore and husband, Dee, Edna Ruth Benitez-Carroll and husband, Clifton, Barbara Sue Long and husband, David, Kathy Strunk and husband, Kelly, Johnny Ray and wife, Janet, Anthony Garfield, Larry Robert and wife, Kelly, and Mary Elizabeth White; daughter-in-law, Anne Hutson; grandchildren: Jelisha, Stevan Allan, Keithrel Ernest, Kimberly, Elizabeth, Sheena, Cody, Jacob, Hanna, Curtis, Jeremy, Jennifer, Johnny ìRJî, Justin, Anthony Garfield Jr., Kathryn Elizabeth, Sara Sheniquia Ruth, Christina, Johnathon, Nicholas. Great-children: Jaymes Joseph, Tymothy John, Cayleb Jordan, Roy K.E., Sydnie L., Stephanie L., Heather D., Katlyn Joy, Myles, Chase, Gabrielle, Addison, Heath Andrew Jr., Cassie Rain, Jelisa Amorette Gleigh, Jozlynn Renae, Randi Janae, Drake Alexander, Dylan Andrew, Allie Mae, Jayden, Isaac James, Jenna Faith, Collin Josiah, Anthony Garfield III, and Kahlan Lucius Auron; special friend, Rosalind Musselman; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted May 25, at Annadell Baptist Church with Bro. Dwight Stanley and Bro. Larry Ellis officiating. Interment followed at Hutson Family Cemetery.
