Charles T. "Pat" McBroom, 89, of Oneida, passed away May 13, 2013, at Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born in Woodbury, Tennessee, October 24, 1923, he was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Mary Louise Kittrell McBroom; first wife, Reba Robbins McBroom; second wife, Betty Cecil McBroom; son, Michael Robbins McBroom; one brother, and two sisters.

He was a member of First Baptist Church-Oneida, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Louise McBroom of Nashville; son, Charles Thomas McBroom, Jr., and wife, Debbie, of Oneida; step-daughters: Brenda Allen of Winfield, Lou Ann Smith and husband, Denny, of Oneida, and Stephanie Brooks and husband, Tony, of Knoxville; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted May 16, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida with Rev. Philip Kazee officiating. Music was provided by members of First Baptist Church. Graveside service was conducted May 17, at Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury, Tenn.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements.
