Norma Jean Miller, 74, of the Straight Fork community, passed away May 10, 2013, at the U.T. Hospital in Knoxville.
Born November 4, 1938, she was preceded in death by her parents, Benton and Frances Johnson; daughter, Debi Miller Silcox; and father- and mother-in-law, Rev. Richard and Lana Miller.
She was a 65-year member of Straight Fork Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Miller of the Straight Fork community; son, Benny Miller and wife, Kathy, of the Straight Fork community; grandchildren: Joy Silcox, Amy Byrd, Carla Miller, and Ramona Massengale; great-grandchildren: Rissa, Brandon, Katie, Cameron, Ashley, Benji, Ethan, Graci, and Lilí Buster; great-great-grandson, Axel; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted May 13, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Buster Massengale and Bro. Rick Howard officiating. Music was provided by Rich and Nina Howard. Graveside service was conducted May 14, at Byrd Private Family Cemetery.
Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville had charge of arrangements.
