Sadie Ellen Morrow Sexton, 93, passed away peacefully April 24, 2013, with her family at her side.

Born in Osceola, Lancaster County, South Carolina, March 5, 1920, she was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Banks and Genie Bowles Morrow; husband, Malvin Cecil Sexton; sons: Allen Cecil and Joe Richard Sexton; six brothers, three sisters, six brothers-in law, and three sisters-in-law and their spouses.

She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church of Oneida, and was a member of the Democratic Party.

She is survived by her children: Carole Burke and husband, Donnie, and their children, Bethney, Jenny and Jacob; Robin Morrow and wife, Brenda, and their children, Missy and Deana; John Christopher Sexton and children, Blake and Wesley; Suzanne OíNeal and husband, Paul, and their children, Lisa and Katy; grand children: Kristin, Brent, Rick (Jody), Christina, and Allen; 28 great-grandchildren; special friends: Barbara Robbins and Ruby Martin; and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted April 27, at First United Methodist Church of Oneida with Pastors Keith G. Knight and Randy Bates officiating. Interment was conducted April 27, at Sexton Cemetery.

Jones & Son Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
