Aurlie P. “Snookie” Boyatt, 79, of Cheboygan, Michigan, passed away January 6, 2013, at Hospice House.

Born in Lachaway, Florida, October 26, 1934, she was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy (Spears) Jewell; and grandson, William “Billy” Driscoll, Jr.

She worked at Circuit Control as a line foreman for many years, and retired from Proctor & Gamble in 1999 after more than 20 years of service. She had an artistic and creative talent and enjoyed crafting.

She is survived by her husband, Lester Ronald Boyatt of Cheboygan, Mich.; children: Brenda Discoll-Kennedy, Gerald (Debra) Driscoll, Billy Ray Driscoll, Ronda (David) Boyatt-VanHimbergen, and John (Candace) Boyatt, all of Cheboygan, Mich., and Steven (Linda) Boyatt of Grand Rapids, Mich.; brothers: Ray Jewell of Cheboygan, Mich., and Daryle (June) Rocco of Grand Rapids, Mich.; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers- and sisters-in-law: Louis Boyatt of Dalton, Ga., Brian Boyatt, Wanda (Toots) Boyatt, and Melba Cross, all of Oneida, Gary Boyatt of Huntsville, Norma Jean Rubio of Chicago, Ill., and Nelda Jones of Whitley City, Ky.; and many other relatives.

Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
