Evelyn McDonald Caldwell, 76, of Robbins, passed away December 27, 2012, at her home.
Born in Scott County, February 29, 1936, she was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Louise Daugherty McDonald; son, Jim Goodman; sisters: Mery Ellen, May, and Charlean; brothers: Raymond Reed and Allen McDonald; and brother-in-law, Lenard Abney.
She was a member of Macedonia Christian Center in Oneida.
She is survived by her children: Larry Goodman and wife, Vicky, of Ind., Helen McNorton of Helenwood, James Goodman and wife, Mery, of Ky., Avery Caldwell and wife, Chris, of Texas, Donna Songer, and Mike Caldwell and wife, Deb, all of Oneida, Karen Cook of Sweetwater, and John Caldwell and Tony Mead, both of Robbins; 38 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, sister, Christine Abney of Fla.; special sister and best friend, Mazine McDonald of Huntsville; brothers: Alvin McDonald and wife, Mikkie, of Ala., and Charlie Sexton and wife, Jackie, of Huntsville; special niece, Stacy Keeton Honeycutt; many nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted December 30, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Music was provided by the Mason Family. Interment followed at Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.
West-Murley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
